Mars Rover Landing at DMNS

If you’d like to see what’s happening over on Mars this weekend you can visit the Denver Museum of Nature and Science Sunday afternoon and watch the landing of the Phoenix.

I watched the Spirit landing in 2004 and it was more than suspenseful listening to the communications and updates from NASA’s JPL.  Also on hand are knowledgeable experts in the field who give lectures and play by play during the descent and landing.

The event starts Sunday at 4pm.  Its $10 for non-members, and you can enjoy a $5 pasta dinner.
