India Express in Brief . Denver
Location: 7th and Colorado Blvd – On the east side of Congress Park, (my hood,) just north of Cherry Creek and Glendale. Despite the busy Colorado Boulevard corridor this cluster of retail contains some inviting spots including the Spicy Pickle deli, the Recovery Room Bar, and the Erawan Cafe Thai restaurant.
Time: Last Friday night 6:30pm.
Food: Chicken Korma with a side of flatbread.
In Brief: Nice bright decor, ample seating. The Chicken Korma served over white rice was quite hearty and just enough spice to give it a kick without going overboard. Negatives: My tea was simply a Lipton with hot water. Which is tea, but I expected something a bit more exotic. Also our server and waiter, (two young guys there,) seemed a bit awkward and a habit of hovering. I think the younger guy was new. I’d be happy to return and try the lunch buffet!

How has this place been around so long when it always seems empty? Everytime I go, there is maybe one other table. Is it all take-out?
The staff are always a bit odd, but that’s just my impression. I ‘ve never had bad service or food. Just a different vibe.
Sorry, my previous comments were about Erawan, not India.
