Bike MS 2008 Colorado Ride
Also titled: PLEASE GIVE MONEY!
If I didn’t mention this in a prior rambling post, I am participating in the MS150 bike tour this year! This event on June 28th and 29th is a 150 mile bike tour (75 each day,) to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society’s Colorado Chapter.
Since our crummy economy forced the layoff of the entire Future Gringo staff except for myself, I am riding with Team 97.3 KBCO, a great radio station out of Boulder, Colorado. No – I never meant any of those posts about how I prefer XM and podcasts to commericial radio.
In 2006 we rode from Denver to Colorado Springs, then to the Royal Gorge Bridge. Check out my photos from 2006 to see how much fun we had even with the rain and grueling hills.
This year we’ll be riding from north Denver through the foothills west of Longmont, then down through Horsetooth Reservoir and into Fort Collins. And then somehow making it back the second day.
If you’d like to learn more visit bikemscolorado.com And there are a few spaces still open if you want to ride!
If you’re a fan of my blog, (which means you like blogs that lack any clear focus on one subject,) and you’d like to donate to a good cause, even a small amount, HERE’S THE LINK to donate directly in my name.
Thanks in advance, and I promise more great photos like this:
