Last month I posted a video from the Wall Street Journal featuring some Denver residents who were transforming their yards into large gardens in order to grow vegetables. This house, just a few blocks from mine, recently churned up their soil and I’m happy to say this garden appears to be flourishing! But as mentioned before I’m clueless at growing anything. (I’m told these are tomatoes.)
This house is at the corner of 12th Avenue and Elizabeth if you’d like to take a look. (Please leave your pet rabbit at home.) While we may not have huge yards in the city this is a great example of using our resources wisely and I wish the best to these owners!
Oh and its also located across the street from Shells and Sauce - which you’ll remember garnered my most strange and odd comments ever from my mini review last fall.
