jetBlue Terminal 5 . JFK

Last week Wired had a write up of the new JFK jetBlue terminal, constructed as part of the TWA flight center remodeling.

Comments offer varied opinions, but when airports go beyond the standard terminal box and concourse design opinions are bound to differ. (Consider my home airport’s giant white tent.) I would certainly be interested in seeing it for myself. I kinda like the orange.

In addition to bright colors, lounge furniture, and a sushi bar, there’s a marketplace with a wide range of retailers including Borders, the Ron Jon Surf Shop, (no doubt for those heading to sunny destinations,) and travel and apparel outfitter ExOfficio.

Here’s another review from CNN’s blog. Photo from Wired.
