Gray Line to Serve Copper Mountain
Announced today: Gray Line bus service will serve Copper Mountain from Denver International Airport. I frequent the Lonely Travel board, where the question of mountain transport is often asked. For those who don’t care to rent cars the company most used is Colorado Mountain Express. Their fleet of small vans are often seen on interstate 70. I’d suspect that Gray Line will use their larger motorcoaches, which would make for a comfortable ride up the 100 miles between DIA and Copper.
If booking online at Copper Mountain you’ll be able to add ground transportation too. Departures are said to be every two hours. At $65 a trip its cheaper than a car rental, (for a small family,) and Summit County’s excellent transit system makes it easy to visit Breckenridge or other towns for non-skiers too.

Dang! I wish they’d had that last winter, when incoming kin were assured that all eight of them and their gear would fit in a rental SUV for the drive up to Breck.
They just barely fit in the SUV and my Subaru. Going Grey Line would’ve saved me few extra trips that week.
I’m not sure if they’re making a stop downtown. From what I read it is just strictly airport-Copper service.
If they did make a stop downtown and I could park there for the day I would definitely be on board.
We’ll see!
