Nalgene Travel Kit
I was lamenting traveling with my five ounce tub of hair gel last week, so I ordered this nifty 3-1-1 kit by Nalgene, best known for their durable camping and outdoor gear. Now I can portion out TWO three ounce or less portions for my travel bag, rather than smuggling ONE five ounce container in my carry on. Logical I know.
I order them from Magellen’s Travel Supply for just $9.85. Speaking of Magellen’s I haven’t received a catalog lately – I wonder why?
I purchase the travel size shampoos and toothpaste individually, but for various lotions and non travel size liquids this is a highly practical way to portion them out and for under $10 an excellent travel item. Plus you can keep your travel size bottles packed and ready to go – no more transferring stuff from bathroom to bag the morning you depart.
They sell in small and medium. Also included are two four ounce bottles which can be used for pills or what not. I noticed they look about the same size as the Smirnoff Vodka shooters which could be quite convenient.
Nalgene is good stuff, I don’t know why anyone would want anything else, and the last time I checked it is still made in the USA, if that matters to you.
I recall placing orders for lab bottles and adding a few extra Nalgene bottles to the order to be used for backpacking.

I did notice the “Made in USA” label when I received the package. Knowing that will definitely put them in the forefront of my mind for future purchases!
