Passports and iPhones

Tip: Keep a photo of your passport, and store your passport number and expiration date in the contact or text area of your iPhone or smartphone.

In addition to having it backed up in case of loss or theft, having the info on hand is useful when filling out immigration forms on airplanes, or checking in online, you won’t have to dig it out from its securely stored location.

And keep a pen handy too.

    1. Nice – That’s a very smart tool. As that article mentions many places (hotels, currency booths) need your to also SEE your passport and note the digits.

      And if the copy is mistakenly left behind you can still get home…
