Without doubt the most unique, weird, bizarre, and one of the most enjoyable gay bars I’ve ever visited is Edel Weiss, in Munich’s Zendlinger Tor area. Its a medium size bar – but decked out in a Bavarian Alps theme complete with skiis on the wall, photos of St. Bernards, enormous steins and all the other accoutrements you’d find.

Some guys we met at Bau, (another bar,) invited us down the street to join them and we ended up staying there all night enjoying the blend of dance and local Bavarian music. Unfortunately a Google search nets me zero about Edel Weiss, trip reports, or a website – so If you’re visiting Munich just ask around in Zendlinger Tor and someone will point you to Edel Weiss.
