Thanks to a streak of non icy and slushy days I’ve been enjoying my daily bike commute uninterrupted for the past two weeks or so.
Robert Hurst, author of “The Art of Urban Cycling,” and “Road Biking Colorado’s Front Range” has a new blog: The Industrialized Cyclist.
Robert shares my interest of urban geography and utility cycling. In his blog, among biking articles and news, are some excellent photos of Denver landmarks, buildings, trip reports, and trail info.

Thanks for answering my question on the Lonely Planet. I have another for you. I would like to visit Aspen for two nights and stay one night in Denver before we leave to fly back to Seattle. I was thinking about going back through Leadville until I saw how scary the drive is…is it worse than going up Pike’s Peak? Anyway…I’m not great with heights…so is there another way back to Denver where you suggest we spend a romantic evening? Another little town where we can explore? Would we go back the same way on 70? Damn, I’d like to see Leadville but not if it means white knuckles..etc. thanks I’ve already booked at the Aspen hotel you suggested.
