A Geocache Find!
Geocaching is a fun activity where GPS users hide various articles in order to be discovered by other geocachers and adventures.
A month old Geocaching.com post provided clues to something hidden near the border of Congress Park and Cherry Creek. Tracking down the coordinates revealed a private “mini park” built inside of an abnormally large alley parcel. If you didn’t stumble into one of the alleys you’d have no idea this park, complete with trees and benches, even existed. I’ve probably passed by this “secret park” over 100 times and was never the wiser. Since I’m sure the residents prefer to keep it that way I won’t reveal the exact location.
Hidden inside a bush was this bottle of “Holy Cow” chardonnay! James and I will enjoy this bottle tonight courtesy of a generous fellow geocacher – and will be sure to pay it forward by hiding something just as unique and enjoyable in the same location.
If you want to become a geocacher visit geocaching.com. Fun for the kids too!

Neat! Of course now I’m wondering where that hidden park is …
Maybe you could at least provide the link to that specific geocache?
Thanks for the comments! I don’t think I have so many readers that a large mob would end up descending on this little spot –
So here is the actual “mini alley park” – between Clayton and Detroit at 8th.
Pretty cool huh? I don’t think the owner/residents would mind if people stopped by and appreciated it – just no overnight camping…
Thanks James.
