Crocs Store at Denver Airport

I passed more hours than I’d like to admit at the airport a few weeks back. I arrived ridiculously early in hopes of catching an earlier ride to Chicago, but a canceled flight also canceled my hopes of making any standby list.

I was enjoying lunch at the Paradise Cafe at about 11am, sitting near the Crocs store/kiosk. For 15 minutes I didn’t witness a single person manning the kiosk or checking up on the place – not a SOLE in sight. Thank you. Thank you.

I’ve never worn Crocs, nor do I have anything against them. Just thought it was interesting given their business stories over the past year.

  1. I happen to fly through that concourse quite a bit, often times stopping by that very Crocs store. I must say, you couldn’t be more wrong about there not being anyone around to “man the store”. Every time I’ve stopped by, there have been at least 2-if not more helpful employees working. If you had actually been paying attention you would have noticed that. (What kind of weirdo stares at a store for that long anyway?) The Paradise Cafe isn’t even close enough to the large Crocs store for you to be able to see what’s going on in there anyway. And just because you snapped a picture with nobody in it doesn’t mean anything. That’s only a tiny section of that large store and if I was an employee who saw someone with a camera I sure as hell would get out of the way so I didn’t end up in some weirdo’s picture.
